After coming back from my holiday, I discovered bugs in my luggage. For a whole month, I was getting bitten every night. I tried all sorts of stuff—Rentokil, Zero In, even some vet products with cypermethrin—but nothing did the trick. I cleaned the carpets and bedding with hot water, even got a brand new mattress, but still, those pesky bugs kept biting. Then I stumbled upon this company online, grabbed a spray bottle, and within just 3 hours, I was finally bug-free. Seriously, stick with this company's products; they really do work!

Definitely a solid choice: Awesome company with top-notch products. The mattress covers are of excellent quality, offer great value, and can be washed at 60 degrees Celsius, which is crucial for eliminating bed bugs. Sure, there are cheaper brands out there, but they’re a false economy since they only wash at 40 degrees Celsius or lower and lack quality. The customer service is fantastic - I had an issue with one of the covers, and they sent a replacement right away.

If I receive a callback and some assistance, I might reconsider my review. I stumbled upon this review site and checked out all the ratings from 4 stars down. Since I’ve had two issues with this company, I figured I’d share my experience.

Like some others have mentioned, I also don’t get callbacks regarding what went wrong. I’ve never even called in to begin with, which is not accurate.

What really pushed me to write this was a situation where someone had heat treatment and still faced issues with bites. This company claimed no more treatments were necessary, stating they wanted to locate a live bug, and provided him with free bed bug monitors.

My issue is that these monitors do NOT function. So, honestly, this other person got taken for a ride since there were no bugs detected in their monitoring system. I purchase my top-ups, etc. The bedbugs I have now went under the BED BUG CONTROLLER, not inside it—specifically between the bed slats and the box spring. They were also under the mattress protector and mattress, just crawling around. Not a single bed bug was found in the controller.

I genuinely feel this guy got cheated out of his heat treatment. I feel cheated too, as these boxes are ineffective. Two pest control companies have confirmed that I have bed bugs, and so has the council's environmental health department.

Unless I get a clear explanation of what went wrong, I’m considering legal action, as I might have to shut down my business.

It’s been just 8 days since the heat treatment, and honestly, it’s the best £960 I’ve ever put down! They left some spray and powder behind, so I can’t clean for a couple of weeks, but I’m totally fine with that and wouldn’t risk them coming back! I’m really glad I didn’t throw money at pesticides that might not have done the trick because it’s just not worth the hassle. My anxiety was sky-high; I couldn’t catch a wink of sleep, and with a baby on the way and plans to move, I felt incredibly stressed and unwell! I turned into a bit of a self-taught expert on bed bugs, and even now, just seeing their pictures online makes me feel queasy! I went all out preparing, and on treatment day, the pest control team was fantastic. They were super friendly, professional, and really put me at ease, letting me know that even though I felt overwhelmed, my infestation was actually quite minor and localized. I stayed at my mom’s place during the treatment because the heat outside and the residual warmth in my apartment made it impossible to sleep, but since returning home, I haven’t been bitten or spotted a single live bug. Before, I’d wake up with multiple bites every night! Now, I’m sleeping like a baby on my new duvet, pillows, and sheets, and my anxiety has dropped significantly. Even though I’m still in the 14-day watch period and keeping an eye out for any signs, I’m feeling more confident that the treatment did its job. Plus, I reached out to Ryan, the operations manager, several times before and after the treatment for advice, and he was always helpful and never made me feel like I was bothering him. I’m really impressed and can’t thank Cimexine enough for their support. I highly recommend the heat treatment! It’s pricey, but my mental well-being is worth every single penny!

I’m super let down by this company. We forked out £1000 for them to handle our bed bug issue, but it didn’t do a thing. When we had to vacate our rental because the problem was just too much to deal with, I reached out three times asking the expert to return my call and provide some guidance on moving out safely... but they never got back to me! Disappointed doesn’t even begin to describe my feelings.

Treatment with heat and spray. I've been holding off on this review, but now that it's been 7 weeks, I figured it was time to share my experience.

After shelling out a ridiculous amount to a shady company that made a mess of my place (using propane) and still dealing with bed bugs, I was at my wit's end. But then Cimexine came to the rescue and really helped me out. Their professionalism is top-notch. They arrive in vehicles that don’t stand out, and the team really knows their stuff. Seven weeks later, I haven't spotted a single bug or felt a bite. I'm feeling pretty confident that we're bug-free now. Huge thanks to you all! Up to now, my order hasn't made it to me, and my efforts to track it down with DHL have been unsuccessful. Not pleased at all.

Seriously? "We are not a postal service"? That’s just not good enough for customer care. If you’re using a courier to send stuff, it’s on you to make sure it gets to the customer. If the courier messes up, that’s your problem, not mine, and I shouldn’t have to waste hours on the phone sorting it out. The bottom line is, I still haven’t received my items, even after paying for them. I really don’t want to spend more time on the phone with your courier, so I’d appreciate it if you could send my order again ASAP and deal with the lost package with DHL yourself.

Had minimal issues, got the job done well. I’ve got no gripes whatsoever and would totally suggest them.

The protectors for my mattress and pillows are alright, but honestly, the plastic wrap they arrived in feels pretty wasteful.

I can confidently suggest Cimexine. The two guys from Pest Professionals who came to heat treat our place did an excellent and meticulous job. They also sprayed around the house and set traps for any bugs that might have made it through. We're currently in the 14-day post-treatment phase, and everything's looking good so far. While heat treatment can be pricey, Cimexine's rates are fair, much lower than other estimates I received. I’d also recommend their mattress protectors; they’re really well made and super comfy.

I had a positive experience with the service. They handled a missing item quickly, and it showed up the day after I called Cimexine.

The product packaging doesn’t mention any sizes. The sales rep's response was pretty much 'just give it a go'! There were no guidelines provided for fitting the mattress cover. It’ll require at least two folks to get it on. I wouldn’t suggest this company or make a purchase from them again.

Cimexine is a solid choice. I'm really happy with this item; it's simple to use and delivers fantastic results.
